PURPOSE OF DOCUMENT:
The nature of this document is to allow for a transparent and respectable consensus between the Approved Driving Instructor and clients.

DRIVING SCHOOL
We offer in-car tuition, working collaboratively towards achieving you a full driving licence and instilling lifelong safe driving skills. Our focus is on ensuring that you learn to drive safely and responsibly, adhering to the rules and law regulations outlined within the Highway Code.
We aim to meet and exceed the standards set by the practical driving test.

 

WHEN TERMS TAKE EFFECT
These terms take immediate effect upon signature or when commencing tuition.

 

STUDENT RESPONSIBLITIES – FINES, CHARGES & DAMAGE
The student is responsible for obeying the Highway Code throughout lessons and is therefore wholly liable for any fines, penalty points or prosecution as a consequence of their driving. The student will be financially responsible for any damage caused by careless and/or dangerous driving.

 

LICENCE CHECKS
Before beginning lessons a mandatory licence check must be conducted. This step must be completed. Failure to fulfil a licence check will result in the inability to book a lesson.

The instructor reserves the right to conduct random licence checks over the period learner is receiving driving tuition.

 

 

01)
             LESSONS:
Lesson times run between 8am – 8pm weekdays and 9am – 7pm weekends.
To accommodate requested lesson times a flexible diary is offered (subject to availability).
We reserve the right to amend driving lessons if we are unable to keep the appointment in the event of pre-booked driving tests, mechanical breakdown, sickness, pre-booked holidays or due to immovable traffic or adverse weather conditions.

 

02)
             BOOKINGS:
All bookings are subject to availability on a first come first serve basis. Bookings paid for will have a validity period of 6 months from the payment date.

             BLOCK BOOKINGS
Block bookings are charged at a discounted rate and non-refundable.
When using lesson credit, dates confirmed will have priority resulting in bookings being instantly confirmed, subject to availability. 

Hours purchased will act as credit and are valid for 6 months from the date of purchase.

              BOOKING CONFIRMATIONS
Upon retrieval of payment, an invoice will be directly emailed to you. An SMS will be sent specifying date/time and collection address.

              CANCELLATIONS & RESCHEDULED LESSONS
All cancellations must be made with a minimum of 24-hours’ notice to avoid a cancelation fee. Any lesson changes made less than this notice period will not be eligible for a refund. All efforts will be made to reschedule your booking to a more appropriate time. In the circumstance of lesson cancellation initiated by the instructor, no charges will be incurred. Every attempt will be made to re-arrange a scheduled lesson, or refunds may be issued to address any inconvenience caused.

Multiple cancellations will not be tolerated, a 3 strike rule is in place.

             PRICES:
Pricing is established at a fixed rate, in the event of any adjustments in pricing you will receive advance notice and will be informed of any changes.

             REFUNDS:
Block bookings are non-refundable; refunds may be considered for unused block bookings subject to circumstances. In calculating the amount to be refunded all hours already used will be charged at the standard hourly rate and not the discounted rate. Individual 2-hour lessons are eligible for refund upon request provided that a 24-hour notice period is adhered to.

             PAYMENTS:
All payments must be made at least 24 hours in advance of lesson to secure chosen booking time slot. Failing to do so will risk forfeiting the desired time slot to allow for other pupil bookings.

            CARD PAYMENTS:
When making payments via “BACS” it is your responsibility to ensure that the funds are sent to the correct account details, payment that do not reach the necessary account will not be acknowledged as credit towards lessons. 

            CASH PAYMENTS:
Cash payments for block bookings will require a deposit to secure lesson slots. The outstanding balance will be settled in cash on the day of the lesson.

Cash payments are accepted by prior agreement.

            OFFERS & GIFT VOUCHERS
Online payments for gift vouchers expire after 6 months. All available offers are provided at a reduced rate and are valid for a specified duration. Special offers, once purchased are non-refundable.

 

06)
             TEST BOOKINGS:
It is preferred that practical driving test is booked with the agreement of the Approved Driving Instructor (ADI). Booking a driving test is not a guarantee that the student will be test ready by that date. Students may book their own test date however the availability of the instructor (ADI) cannot be guaranteed.

              VEHICLE USAGE
In order to be eligible to use the instructors (ADI) vehicle for your practical test, a minimum of 6 hours of training must be completed. In the event of three or more weeks between the last lesson and practical test date, a minimum of 2 additional hours must be completed to establish test readiness, confirming use of vehicle.

              RE-TEST
In the event of an unsuccessful attempt the student is required to maintain an appropriate level of practice ahead of any re-test. A schedule will be agreed with the ADI. Where a student does not maintain the agreed level of practice, the ADI may not provide the tuition vehicle for the purposes of taking the re-test.

             PERSONAL DATA POLICY:
Any personal information acquired will be used solely for relevant purposes. Personal data will be securely stored and, under no circumstances, shared with anyone without the individual’s explicit consent.

             CHANGES TO TERMS & CONDITIONS:
In the event of any modifications to these terms and conditions, you will receive prompt notification and be courteously requested to re-sign the document to ensure your continued receipt of the instructor’s services.

              AGREEMENT ACCEPTANCE
By agreeing to the preceding terms and conditions, you hereby confirm your understanding of the stated requirements and your commitment to the provided services.

              TERMINATION OF AGREEMENT
The driving school strictly upholds a zero-tolerance policy with respect to any manifestations of bullying, harassment, discrimination, or unreasonable behaviour. The instructor reserves the sole discretion to suspend or terminate driving lessons at any time in response to such behaviours.
